With his 2013 album "Nighttrain" Harald Nies tells us the ride in a night train. It doesn't matter where you start and where the journey takes you. The way is the goal. During this journey you will experience the silence and peace of the night. Lights scurry by. It goes ahead. Thoughts blur. Trapped in these worlds sleep has no chance at first, until they give in to the monotonous sounds of the night train. This journey gives you the time and the peace to think about your own "I" and you know "that does me good". They drive into the sunrise, which they haven't noticed for a long time. They get out and look forward to their return journey in their "Nighttrain".
