„Cableworld“ is the name of the new album of the spacerock-musician Harald Nies. Whereas his last album “Torodial Sequences” was dominated by experimental, meditative moments, with his new album the musician shows a slightly different side: “Calbleworld” is full of catchy melodies at a high level using sounds from past and present. Elegant guitar-soli are skilfully combined with dreamy sequences. Nies even adventures a short trip to the world of 4tothefloor in his own manner. “Cableworld” is full of music, which does not follow a fixed scheme but whose catchy grooves invite the audition to daydreams. Moreover, the theme of the album “Calbleworld” can be found in the music immediately which makes the album, in my opinion, a real insiders’ tip.
